Maddy Madden

Maddy Madden is a young woman with big aspirations, and has a passion for improving the lives of Indigenous Australians through the performing arts.

Maddy shot to national fame last year, when her “Address to the Nation” for GenerationOne was screened on all free to all channels and other media outlets.

She is the daughter of Hetti Perkins and the late Lee Madden and the granddaughter of Chicka and Lily Madden, and Eileen and Charles Perkins.

“GenerationOne is a national movement that aims to inspire every Australian, including our youngest citizens, to play their part in ending Indigenous disadvantage in one generation – this generation. By joining together; Indigenous and non Indigenous, young and old, city and country, we can all make a difference.

The GenerationOne Hands Across Australia School Competition is a great opportunity for all schools across Australia to get involved, make a statement about what you think about Indigenous disadvantage, and have fun at the same time!”
